Car damaged as thugs throw 'objects' at vehicles in Grangemouth


Police in Grangemouth are on the hunt for a group of thugs seen throwing 'objects' at vehicles over the weekend.

Officers were called to Kersibank Avenue at around 2:05am on Saturday October, 2, after reports a taxi had been damaged.

A group of four or five youths are believed to have been involved in the incident outside former boozer Avongrange.

An investigation has started and cops are asking anyone with information to contact them.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.05am on Sunday, 3 October, police were called to a report of car being damaged and youths throwing objects at cars in Kersiebank Avenue, Grangemouth.

"Officers attended however the youths dispersed prior to police arrival.

"Enquiries are continuing."
