Car crushed in horror two-vehicle smash at Tennent's brewery in Glasgow

The front of a car was completely crushed following a horror two-vehicle smash in Glasgow last night.

Emergency services rushed to Duke Street near the Tennent's brewery after the crash happened at around 5.25pm.

Police attended and officers were seen speaking to a driver and a passenger while a marked car was parked nearby with flashing lights on.

Eye-witnesses reported lots of debris on the road following the accident.

Despite the extent of the damage, no serious injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

The cars , which are both expected to be write-offs, were removed from the road at around 7pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.25pm on Wednesday, 7 April, officers were called to Duke Street, Glasgow, following a report of a two-car crash.

"There were no serious injuries and the cars were recovered around 7pm.”
