A driver and passengers had a miraculous escape after a road traffic collision left their car a crumpled mess.
The shocking image shared by the Garda Traffic Twitter page shows the bashed up wreckage of the car.
The single-vehicle collision that happened on the R414 Rathangan in Co Kildare was attended by Kildare gardai and Naas RPU yesterday.
All passengers of the car managed to walk away unhurt but the diver's luck didn't last too long after gardai discovered they had no driving licence or insurance.
A post on the garda Twitter account said: "Kildare Gardaí were assisted by Naas RPU dealing with a single vehicle RTC on the R414 Rathangan.
"Driver and passengers amazingly escaped injury. Driver had no Driving Licence or Insurance. Court appearance to follow."
