Car crashes into tree during early hours of the morning in Nottingham

Police were called to Forest Road West in after a car crashed into a tree before being driven away.

The incident occurred at 2am on Forest Road West on Monday, April 19.

The force say debris was left at the scene but the car in question drove away before officers arrived.

No injuries were reported.

They are appealing for anyone with any more information on the incident to get in touch.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said: "Nottinghamshire Police were called to Forest Road West in Radford at around 2am on April 19 2021 following a car hitting a tree, leaving debris at the scene and then driven off.

"There was no damage to any street furniture and no reported injuries.

"If you have any information please call 101, quoting incident number 39 of 19 April 2021."
