Car crashes into pharmacy wall in three car smash

A car crashed into the wall of a pharmacy following a three car smash.

Police were called to reports of a crash on Stanney Lane in Ellesmere Port today at around 11.20am.

One video taken by eyewitness shows three emergency vehicles outside Stanney Lane Chemist and a police road sign to say it was closed.

The eyewitness told the ECHO that he saw "two cars at odd angles" and no one appeared to be injured.

A spokesperson for Cheshire police said the crash involved three cars - a green Corsa, silver Skoda and a black Fiesta.

When officers attended the scene they found that the driver of the Skoda had collided with a wall which caused 'minor damage'.

Stanney Lane was closed while emergency services attended the scene and it was reopened 45 minutes later.

A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service confirmed that an ambulance attended the scene, but no one was taken to hospital.

They said: "No one required hospital treatment."

A spokesperson for Cheshire police said: "At 11.20am on Monday, September 6 police were called to reports of a collision on Stanney Lane in Ellesmere Port.

"The collision involved three vehicles – a green Corsa, silver Skoda and a black Fiesta.

"Officers attended to the scene to find the driver of the Skoda had collided with the wall of a building causing minor damage.

"The road was closed and reopened around 45 minutes later."
