Car crashes into house at Jerrabomberra

Two people were transported to hospital when a car crashed into a house on Franklin Circuit, in Jerrabomberra, early on Monday afternoon.

Around 1.15pm, Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Queanbeyan fire station arrived on scene to find a vehicle lodged in the front of a house.

Two people in the house were injured and transported to hospital.

The structural integrity of the house was damaged so the NSW team worked with teams from ACT Fire Service to stabilise the property, remove the car and assist the injured.

The occupant of the car was uninjured and take into custody by police, who are investigating damage caused further down the street by the same vehicle.

The two occupants of the car were treated and transported to hospital by NSW Ambulance.

NSW Police are investigating the incident.
