Car 'crashes into house' after driving through supermarket car park fence in Cranhill

A car has reportedly crashed into a house after driving through a supermarket fence in Cranhill.

Emergency services are on the scene at Sumburgh Street following the incident.

Police officers and fire fighters are dealing with the crash which happened around 9pm on Wednesday.

An eyewitness told Glasgow Live that the driver ploughed through the fence surrounding Dominos Pizza on Edinburgh Road before going through a second fence and into the house.

A person was also seen on a stretcher near to the scene, although it's unconfirmed whether anyone was injured at this moment.

A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that they are currently on the scene after a 'car crashed into a house'.

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
