A motor vehicle crash in Red Hill temporarily closed two out of three lanes of traffic travelling eastbound on Hindmarsh Drive this morning.
The incident involved two cars and one person was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
Motorists experienced significant delays on their way to work with emergency services initially asking drivers to avoid the area if possible.
ACT Fire and Rescue, ACT Ambulance Service, and ACT Policing were called to the scene at the intersection of Tamar Street and Hindmarsh Drive, Red Hill at about 8.30am.
A spokesperson for emergency services said all lanes on Hindmarsh Drive have since been reopened.
