Severe delays are being reported on the A77 following a crash this evening.
Two separate incidents have created a number of issuers for commuters in and around Ayrshire.
Stagecoach West Scotland has reported delays because of a crash northbound between Bellfield and New Farm Loch.
While another report claims that there is a "missing manhole cover or large pothole" on the southbound carriageway.
Traffic Scotland shared information that states that multiple cars are currently in the lay-by changing tyres.
A76 info tweeted: "Missing manhole cover (or large pothole) on A77 southbound lane 1 on Kilmarnock bypass multiple cars in lay by changing tyres."
Stagecoach West Scotland said: "There has been an accident northbound between Bellfield and New Farm on the A77, delays to be expected.
"We will try our best to get to you as soon as we can."
