A police helicopter was called in to help officers catch two suspects who allegedly fled from a vehicle involved in a car chase in Ayrshire.
Air backup was brought in on Tuesday evening to aid cops on the ground pursuing a vehicle in Kilwinning
Both suspects were spotted running from the scene as one even attempted to hide from cops in a river.
Photographs taken from the helicopter show a figure within the water as officers circulated above.
Both suspects were located and arrested.
Posting about the incident on Twitter, Police Scotland Air Unit said: "Police helicopter assisted colleagues @ AyrshireNPolice # Kilwinning last night in locating 2 suspects who had made off from a vehicle following a car chase.
"One suspect attempted to hide from police in the River.
"Both arrested. # policeairsupport"
