Commuters should expect delays on the A55 this afternoon following a vehicle fire.
The incident took place near Caerwys, Flintshire .
It happened on the eastbound carriageway at J31 which is close to the A5151 exit.
All lanes have re-opened following the incident but there is still a large amount of traffic.
Vehicles were initially being held due to the amount of smoke in the area.
People have also been advised to stay in their vehicles and not to abandon them as a result of the incident.
North Wales Fire Service re-tweeted a post issued by Traffic Wales that read: "Vehicle fire reported #A55 J31- J32 Eastbound.
"Please drive carefully."
