Car bomber on run as police warn 'do not approach' him

A car bomber who was convicted for helping to cause one of the largest explosions ever in mainland Britain is wanted on recall to prison.

Richard Caswell, 38, is wanted for breaching the terms of his license after he was released from prison.

Caswell was partly responsible for blowing up three cars in Liverpool as part of a feud involving club bosses in the city between 2003 and 2004.

The now 38-year-old was told he could have "killed or mutilated" those nearby to the terrifying blasts and was handed a huge 17-year sentence for his part in the crime.

Police are now looking to track him down to return him to prison.

Caswell, who is from Kirkdale, is known to frequent areas of north Liverpool, Manchester and London and sometimes goes by the name of Will Caswell.

Back in March, he was sentenced to eight weeks in prison suspended for 12 months after he pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, obstructing an officer in execution of duty, driving without insurance, and using a false number plate.

Caswell was also told to complete 15 days of rehab, have a curfew for 12 weeks and is disqualified from driving for 18 months.
