Car badly damaged after smashing through garden wall

Dramatic photographs show the carnage caused after a car smashed though a garden wall, in St George, Bristol.

Police and firefighters were called to Two Mill Hill Road at 6:13pm today (Sunday, May 3).

A witness said it was lucky the vehicle did not crash through a resident's living room.

She said: "Honestly, some of the other houses further down are just terraces with a pavement then the road, so it is lucky it crashed there with a wall otherwise it could have gone in to someone's living room."

Photographs show the front of the car has been completely destroyed in the crash.

A huge pile of rubble can also be seen outside of home near to the vehicle.

A spokesman for Avon Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Kingwood attended the collision.

Police temporarily closed the road (bristol live)

"We were called by police because the vehicle was causing an obstruction," he said. "No one was trapped in the vehicle and it was not trapped in the wall when firefighters arrived."
