A car and motorbike were involved in a collision near a Horfield supermarket.
Police shut the B4468 Kellaway Avenue following the crash, which happened at around 4.30pm today (Tuesday, April 2).
The accident took place near the Tesco superstore.
Police cars and ambulance cars were pictured on the scene at 4.36pm.

The motorcyclist was receiving treatment from paramedics at this time. The nature of his injuries is not yet known.
The road reopened at around 5.27pm.
