Today's caption competition picture shows chancellor George Osborne at a high-level meeting with a distinctly unimpressed reindeer.
It was taken on Monday evening, as four of the animals visited No 10 for a children's Christmas party. For all the chaos and tension of the past few days in government, here Osborne looks genuinely joyful, and even boyish, as if the chance one day to see a reindeer was the reason he went into politics in the first place.
