Who says young people have no manners? When Ed Miliband visited Bethnal Green Academy to promote his economic policies on 10 January, the pupils kindly kept quiet about the fact that one of his former advisers had described them as "all crap". On the Today programme, interviewer John Humphrys had been much less kind, also suggesting that Miliband might become "a bit of a drag" on the Labour party. Was Ed tempted to change careers?
