Captain Marvel trailer: Brie Larson finds power in brand new teaser – 'I'm done with you telling me what I can't do'

A new teaser trailer for Captain Marvel has been unveiled, giving more insight into the background of Brie Larson‘s character.

The actor is set to make her debut as Carol Danvers when the Marvel film premieres on 8 March 2019.

Danvers, naturally, features prominently in the newly released clip, both as her adult self and as a child.

A young Danvers is seen playing sports and sitting on a beach, as images of the character’s past alternate with flashes of her adult life.

A former US Air Force fighter pilot turned superhero, she is seen soaring through the air, as was the case in previously released teasers.

Towards the end of the 30-second video, Larson, speaking to an unidentified character, declares: “I’m kind of done with you telling me what I can’t do.”

In addition to Larson, the superhero film stars Jude Law as Danvers’s mentor, Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Lashana Lynch as Maria Rambeau, and Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva.
