Caprice has a new partner on Dancing on Ice after 'parting ways' with Hamish Gaman

In a dramatic turn of events since the mysterious announcement about her on last Sunday's Dancing on Ice, Caprice has revealed she now has a new skating partner.

Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield revealed right at the start of Sunday's live show that Caprice and Hamish had "parted ways" , but offered no explanation as to why, only that Hamish "remains very much part of our professional team," before adding "we hope to have Caprice back on the ice next week."

Since the, speculation has been rife as to what's gone, both on Twitter and on TV with Lorraine hinting Caprice had quit during her show on Monday.

And then on Tuesday, a TV insider told The Sun that the 'parting ways' was down to Caprice and Hamish having a 'toxic partnership'.

This was denied by ITV who said Caprice was working hard towards being on this Sunday's show and now the lady herself has finally broken her silence on the matter to reveal she is now skating with a new partner - Oscar Peters.

She made the announcement when replying to a tweet from OK Magazine, writing "Oscar and I r working hard."

Shedding some light on the matter on Wednesday, Dancing on Ice's creative director and former winner Dan Wiston said "She’s back and we have spent a bit of time with her, and she seems determined to get as much time on the ice as she possibly can."

"In all 12 series that I've worked on the show we've never been in a situation where a celebrity couple have parted company, so like the rest of the nation, I'm interested to see how things pan out."
