Caprice booed on Dancing on Ice as she returns to rink after partner drama

There was a mixed reaction to Caprice's much-hyped return to Dancing on Ice on Sunday night.

A week has now passed since show hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby announced that the 48-year-old model and pro skater Hamish Gaman had 'parted ways', offering no other explanation, but adding that it was hoped Caprice would be back.

And, after a week that has seen rumours swirl about the reason behind the partner split and TV host Jeremy Vine hinting it was down to a "catastrophic fallout", Caprice was back in action on Sunday alongside

But, as reports suggested Caprice was set to sue Dancing on Ice, you can see from the video above, that some boos rang out around the studio as she was introduced to the ice alongside her fellow contestants.

The reaction to her was was very mixed on social media too. Someone tweeted "Haha caprice just got boo'd when she came out, hope she goes, she shouldnt be in it just to change partners all the time and its not fair on hamish that he can only skate with professionals now and shes still in the show."

In agreement, another viewer reacted "quite a few boos there for caprice, no clapping at all," and a third tweeted "If there is any justice Caprice will be in the skate off and the judges will send her home, what were the bosses thinking keeping her on the show? i wonder if she's booed in front of the judges will phil or holly say something? boo's are the least she deserves."
