Tombstone cutouts, placed by activists, are seen outside of Iowa Republican Sen. Joni Ernst’s office in the Russell Building on Thursday to highlight her comments at a recent town hall in her home state. “We all are going to die,” Ernst said during the May 30 town hall in response to a constituent’s concerns about Medicaid cuts.
