Caoimhin Kelleher to start for Liverpool against Chelsea

Caoimhin Kelleher will start for Liverpool in their Premier League match against Chelsea on Sunday.

The Corkman is in from the start at Stamford Bridge after Reds no 1 Alisson Becker returned a positive Covid-19 test.

Kelleher, 23, has been a regular for Liverpool in the Carabao Cup this season, but this top-of-the-table clash will be the biggest of his club career.

Liverpool, trying to keep tabs on Premier League leaders Manchester City, will also be without Roberto Firmino and Joel Matip for the match in London, after the pair also tested positive for the virus.

The Merseysiders will also be without Jurgen Klopp on the touchline, with the Reds boss also having tested positive for Covid-19.

Liverpool: Kelleher; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Fabinho, Henderson, Milner; Salah, Jota, Mane

Subs: Adrian, Keita, Gomez, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jones, Beck, Williams, Morton, Pitaluga
