Caoimhin Kelleher and Chiedozie Ogbene handed full debuts as Stephen Kenny shuffles pack for Qatar

Stephen Kenny has handed full debuts to Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher and Rotherham United winger Chiedozie Ogbene for tonight's friendly with Qatar.

Corkman Ogbene netted his first international goal in Saturday's 3-0 win over Azerbaijan in Baku and has been rewarded with a first start for his country.

His fellow Cork native Kelleher has had to bide his time for a first taste of action from the start after being forced out of the March triple header with injury.

Kenny has also recalled Enda Stevens for his first cap in seven months after the former Shamrock Rovers full-back sat out a lengthy spell with a knee injury during the summer.

Former St Patrick's Athletic playmaker Jamie McGrath has also been brought into the starting line-up after impressing as a second-half substitute on Saturday.

The fifth change to the starting line-up sees Conor Hourihane, who is on loan at Sheffield United from Aston Villa with Stevens, replaces the injured Josh Cullen.

Republic of Ireland: Caoimhin Kelleher; Andrew Omobamidele, Shane Duffy, John Egan; Matt Doherty, Conor Hourihane, Jeff Hendrick, Enda Stevens; Jamie McGrath, Chiedozie Ogbene, Callum Robinson.

Subs: Gavin Bazunu (gk), Mark Travers (gk), Nathan Collins, James McClean, Cyrus Christie, Harry Arter, Jason Knight, Daryl Horgan, James Collins, Aaron Connolly, Adam Idah.
