A young man is fighting for life after being stabbed repeatedly in a broad daylight attack on a busy east London road.
Police and paramedics were called to Barking Road in Canning Town at 7.40am on Friday.
They found a man, believed to be in his 20s, suffering from stab injuries near the junction with Ordnance Road.
He was rushed to an east London hospital where he remains in a critical condition, police said.
Photos showed a number of police cars and a cordon in place as the scene was combed for evidence.
The road was closed in both directions. No one has been arrested.
