The Japanese drama Shoplifters by Japanese director Hirokazu Kore-eda was the big winner at the Cannes Film Festival.
It's about a group of Tokyo misfits and crooks who form an alternative family and take in an abused girl they find.
The festival saw a politically-charged week with many actors calling for more gender equality in the film industry.
