Police carrying out a drugs raid in Carmarthenshire have seized an estimated £100,000 worth of cannabis in a “significant” operation.
A warrant was executed at a house in the village of Garnant, near Ammanford, where officers broke down the door and made their way inside.
They then discovered a large number of cannabis plants growing in the front room and in two bedrooms.
In total Dyfed-Powys Police seized 100 plants. Officers claim that due their maturity, the estimated value of the cannabis growing at the property is about £100,000.

Police are investigating the find, but said that nobody was present when they entered the house on Wednesday, July 21.
Sergeant Gemma Davies of Dyfed-Powys Police said: “This was a significant seizure of cannabis plants which were growing in a sophisticated set-up across three rooms.
"Our investigation is ongoing into who is responsible, as there was nobody present at the time of the warrant, and we are carrying out all possible lines of enquiry to identify a suspect. I would like to thank all officers involved for showing great teamwork during the warrant and subsequent enquiries.”
