Cannabis, steroids and other substances found at homes in Llanelli

A haul of drugs were found in two different residential properties in Llanelli after officers searched the premesis.

Teams from Dyfed-Powys Police, including armed officers and a dog unit, found cannabis and nine bags containing white powder after forcing entry into a flat in Station Road, Llanelli.

Officers entered the property just after midnight on Wednesday, June 3 and found the stash of drugs that had an estimated value of £600.

A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and taken to police custody but was released under investigation pending further enquiries.

A second warrant was carried out on Sunday, June 7 after Dyfed-Powys Police were alerted to reports of alleged drug activities from neighbours.

A search was carried out in Pottery Street, near Llanelli town centre, where 12 grams of cannabis, 39 unknown tablets and a small bag of unknown substances were found.

Two men will be voluntary interviewed on suspicion of possessing illegal substances.
