Two men were arrested after Merseyside police uncovered large amounts of cash and designer goods after following a 'cannabis smell'.
Matrix officers stopped a Volkswagen Golf R yesterday, November 23, after they smelled the drug apparently coming from the vehicle in Prescot..
After pulling over the car, a passenger in the back of the vehicle was searched and found to be in possession of a large amount of money which he could not account for.

The 30-year-old passenger and the driver, a 27-year-old man, was also arrested.
Further searches in the homes of the men led to the discovery of cannabis resin, designer clothes and computer equipment.
Among the goods seized were a Stella McCartney bag, a Rolex watch, a Hublot watch and Jimmy Choo shoes.
Merseyside spokesperson said: “Matrix Priority Crime Team stopped a VW Golf R in Prescot. A passenger, 30 years was searched and in possession of a large quantity of cash.
"The driver, a 27 year old, was also arrested. Searches conducted, Cannabis resin, designer clothing, shoes, watches & computer equipment seized."
