Around 300 plants were discovered in total on North Parade, which overlooks Parsonage Gardens near to Spinningfields.

The swoop comes just weeks after a huge cannabis farm worth millions of pounds was discovered when police raided what they called a 'commercial property' on nearby Century Street, just off Deansgate.
The premises, which the Manchester Evening News understands is near a railway arch, was searched and thousands of plants seized.

In the latest seizure, GMP said officers attended North Parade at 7.30am on Thursday.
It followed reports of a cannabis farm under cultivation.
The force said 'equipment' typically used to grow the drug was also seized in the raid.
The man arrested was held on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and remained in custody for questioning on Thursday evening.
