Cannabis farm discovered in empty Anniesland house as three men are arrested

Three men have been arrested after a cannabis farm was discovered at a house in Anniesland.

Police were called to Hatfield Drive around 5.35pm on Tuesday October 20, following reports of suspicious activity at a property.

A cannabis cultivation was discovered at a property which is believed to be unoccupied. Police officers remain on the scene.

Three men aged 18, 24 and 37 have been arrested and charged in connection with the find and were due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We were called around 5.35pm on Tuesday, 20 October, to a report of suspicious activity at a property in Hatfield Drive, Glasgow.

"Three men, aged 18, 24 and 37, have been arrested and charged in connection with cannabis cultivation. They were due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 21 October."
