A dawn raid at a house in Renfrew uncovered a stash of cannabis, cocaine and cash.
Police seized £30,000 in cash, 22 hash plants, 40 wraps of cocaine and 1kg of herbal cannabis during the bust in Hallidale Crescent.
Officers made the discovery around 7am on Thursday, October 22.
Five people have been arrested in connection with the operation and enquiries are continuing, reports the Daily Record.
Sergeant Kevin McGee, from Renfrew, Johnstone and the villages community policing team, called on members of the public to help in the fight against drugs.
He said: “Officers executed a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at an address in Hallidale Crescent, Renfrew, on Thursday morning.
“During the search, a five-figure sum of cash was found, along with herbal cannabis, suspected cocaine and a small cannabis cultivation.
“This represents a significant success in the fight against the drug trade in our community and will remove harmful substances from our streets.”
He added: “We will continue to tackle the sale of illegal drugs and, with the public’s help, we are making a real difference in reducing the harm they cause.
“The public have a big part to play in helping us in this effort and we would encourage people to get in touch if they have information about the sale or distribution of drugs in the community.
“We will always investigate and act where necessary.”
Three men, aged 23, 28, and 48, and two women, aged 21 and 49, have been arrested in connection with the seizure and will appear in court at a later date.
