Candlestick Chronicles: Optimism rising for 49ers

The 49ers are the only undefeated team remaining in the NFC after four weeks. That’s a pretty far cry from where they’ve been the last two years. They didn’t win three games all year in 2016. They didn’t get their third win until Week 14 the following year, then last year their third win came in Week 15.
