A couple of big-money signings around the NFL put more light on the 49ers’ ongoing negotiations with George Kittle on a long-term contract extension. However, Chris Jones’ deal with the Chiefs and Myles Garrett’s deal with the Browns are both a little different situations than Kittle with the 49ers.

While the starting group appears to have spots locked down, there are some battles behind the trio of starters that should be interesting to watch in camp.
