Candlestick Chronicles: Banged up 49ers face tough test vs. Rams

Injuries have turned the 49ers’ NFC West opener Sunday against the Rams in Los Angeles into something of a battle of attrition. The 49ers will be without both starting offensive tackles, and fullback Kyle Juszczyk, who the offense relies on in myriad ways. LA will likely be without running back Todd Gurley, and cornerback Aqib Talib has been officially ruled out.

Chris Biderman of the Sacramento Bee and Kyle Madson take a dive into the 49ers-Rams matchup to try and figure out how exactly San Francisco might survive offensively to move to 5-0 on the season.
