Global lifestyle and athletic brand Adidas has unveiled artists Mia Rodriguez and Canberra's own Genesis Owusu as the Australian faces of Adidas Originals Forum for its Fall Winter 21 campaign.

The pair join global talent Slowthai and Beabadoobee in a campaign "celebrating cultural leaders who are redefining the style of tomorrow".

Both celebrated recording artists and cultural tastemakers in their own right, Owusu and Rodriguez were approached by the brand "in recognition of the way they embody and also encourage a new generation to embrace an open attitude".

Genesis released his debut album, Smiling With No Teeth, which deals with themes of racism and depression, earlier this year.

Australian artist Genesis, 22, was born in Ghana and grew up in Canberra.

Adidas chose the popular rapper for its campaign because he "is known for constantly pushing the boundaries of traditional genre to create his one-of-a-kind, unique sound and exciting stage presence".

Genesis released his debut album, Smiling With No Teeth, which deals with themes of racism and depression, earlier this year.

He has almost 28,000 followers on Instagram.
