Canberra Raiders centre Curtis Scott stood down during investigation over alleged incident at Kokomo's

CCTV footage of an incident at Kokomo's nightclub allegedly involving Canberra Raiders centre Curtis Scott.

The Canberra Raiders have stood down centre Curtis Scott while they investigate an alleged incident at a Canberra nightspot.

It is alleged Scott punched a man before being removed from the venue —Kokomo's in Canberra's city centre — in the early hours of Sunday, May 30.

The Raiders became aware of the alleged incident via CCTV footage given to the media a week after it occurred.

ACT police said they had not received a complaint in relation to any incident at the venue at that time.

This morning, the Raiders confirmed they had informed the NRL Integrity Unit and were working with them to investigate the incident.

Scott was unlawfully arrested by NSW Police after falling asleep drunk under a tree in Sydney's Moore Park in January 2020.

Those charges were later thrown out of court by a magistrate, with NSW Police forced to pay costs.

Scott later sued for damages over the matter.

Scott is now unlikely to face the Broncos this weekend at Canberra Stadium.
