Weiqing Lui is facing 17 charges including six of sexual intercourse without consent. (ABC News: Ian Cutmore)

A man accused of raping six women at a Chinese medicine clinic in Canberra has pleaded not guilty in the ACT Magistrates Court.

Weiqing Lui, 32, is facing 17 charges — six charges of sexual intercourse without consent and 11 charges of committing an act of indecency.

He previously appeared in court in October, after an investigation into allegations made by two women.

Since then, four more women allege they were also assaulted by Mr Lui while he was providing services at a traditional Chinese medicine clinic in Phillip.

Mr Lui has been released on bail and will be back in court in January.

The maximum penalty for sexual intercourse without consent is 12 years in jail.

Police allege Mr Lui's offending period is from late 2019 until October 15 this year.

The investigation is ongoing; any other victims are asked to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131444, quoting reference number 6936673.
