The price of holidays to the Canary Islands have dropped by a third, as travel firms look to entice British holidaymakers to book a winter sun getaway.
The island hotspots were added back to the UK's travel corridors earlier this month, with firms swiftly re-opening packages and flights for getaways in November and December.
Compared to this time last year, there are big price drops to be found according to research carried out by TravelSupermarket, which looked at thousands of package holidays, based on various departure dates in both November and December.
Prices for a seven-night package had dropped by 33% to Fuerteventura, 27% for Tenerife, 24% for Lanzarote and 14% for Gran Canaria.
That included Tenerife holidays from £309.37pp, Fuerteventura from £334.12pp, and Gran Canaria from £386.45pp. You can find out more on TravelSupermarket.com.
Of course, the Canary Islands have long been a firm favourite with Brits after some winter sun.
The islands boast daily temperatures between 21C-23C so while it won't be hot enough to lay out on a beach, it's still balmy enough to enjoy the outdoors, take beachfront strolls or sit out on a terrace.
The islands also offer plenty of breathtaking scenery and cool attractions which can be enjoyed even when it's not hot weather - for example, Lanzarote's incredible volcano park is a must-see, while Tenerife has some brilliant promenades along the beaches.

As for going on holiday during the three-tier lockdown in the UK?
