A Canadian couple set to wed at a Scots hotel are on the hunt for a dog sitter to help with their big day.
Andrew Anderson, 26, and Heather Hughes, 25, fell in love with Ayrshire venue Lochside Hotel and booked their wedding for June.
The couple decided they would make the trip across the Atlantic but only if their pooch could follow.
Six-month-old Shorkie Flynn, who has his own Instagram, has been tasked with the role of ring bearer for their wedding.
But Heather is now asking Scottish dog lovers for help to look after the 'cuddly' pooch overnight.
Flynn will be kitted out in a kilt matching the groom as he struts down the aisle at Lochside Hotel in New Cumnock.
And the swanky venue even got on board with letting Flynn join the wedding party for pictures and the ceremony.
Heather said: "Flynn is so cuddly, playful and funny.
“He’s very clever and cheeky and just really made our new house feel like a home.
"We got him shortly after moving in, and coming from houses with dogs, we felt like something was missing, turns out it was the clicking of little paws on the wooden floor.
"I fell in love with the Lochside in September 2018.
"We’ve tried to find other venues in Canada but haven’t found any that we love as much as Lochside.
"Of course, we couldn’t leave our Flynn behind so we will be bringing him with us to be our ring bearer.
"Lochside are allowing him to stay with us in their lodge the night before and to be at the ceremony and onsite for photos.
