Canadian burger back at McDonald's for first time in four years

McDonald's has brought back a fan favourite burger from 2015 - with a twist - but there are only days left to try one.

The Canadian Stack has now joined the McDonald’s Great Tastes of the World line-up – with two beef patties, cheese, bacon, and a maple BBQ sauce.

But fans need to be quick as it’s only around until October 22.

The new launch is an upgraded version of the fan favourite Canadian Melt, last seen on menus in 2015. This year, it returns as the Canadian Stack with a new and improved recipe and now features a Maple BBQ sauce.

The burger replaces the French Stack in the Great Tastes of the World promotion and is available now alongside the popular Indian Chicken burger - which is also available until October 22.

Featuring flavours from different countries, the Great Tastes of the World campaign will see a range of beef and chicken burgers on rotation over an eight week period. Beef burgers will change every fortnight, while the chicken sandwiches will stay for four weeks.

At the same time, McDonald’s customers now also have the option to round their bill up to the nearest pound or alternatively add 1p, 10p or 20p via the self-order kiosks in restaurant, with all proceeds going towards helping families with sick children across the UK.

Whether they order a classic Big Mac or one of the burgers from the Great Tastes of the World promotion, customers can support those families in need.
