Canada travel restrictions are set to ease that little bit further for double jabbed Brits, with PCR test requirements set to be scrapped later this month.
Currently fully vaccinated Brits can visit Canada provided they also have proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of arrival.
Now the Canadian government has confirmed that from February 28, antigen tests will also be accepted for double jabbed arrivals as long as this has been taken the day before travel.
It could help keep travel costs down for holidaymakers, as antigen tests tend to be significantly cheaper than PCR tests., although it's worth noting that the tests must be administered in a lab and can't be done at home.
