Can you spot yourself in our Newcastle Northern Pride 2019 Parade photo gallery?

A rainbow carnival danced its way through Newcastle on Saturday as Northern Pride 2019 got underway in style.

Thousands of marchers lined up outside the Civic Centre ahead of the parade, which took in Northumberland Street, headed past Monument onto Blackett Street and finished with a stretch from Percy Street to the Town Moor.

Heavy rain did little to put the rainbow army off, as they jubilantly made their way through town to the sound of drums, trumpets, singing and cheering.

We sent a photographer to capture as many images as possible - and they do not disappoint.
