Can you spot ghostly figure peering from window in background of picture?

A harmless snap taken on a housing estate has sparked an online paranormal mystery.

The photo was taken when local councillor Jason Wayne Parry was highlighting a problem about dog fouling in his ward.

But when he shared the photo to Facebook to raise awareness, the response he received wasn't what he was expecting at all.

What are ghosts? Do they exist?

Some people said they could see a strange 'ghostly' figure standing in the window of one of the homes in the background of the picture.

And when the mysterious figure was brought to barber Jason's attention - he decided to do some investigating, NorthWalesLive reports.

Cllr Parry, who is a member of Caernarfon Town Council and represents the Peblig ward, said: “I was putting up signs warning against dog fouling in the area to bring attention to the problem we have in the estate.

“When I do jobs like that, I like to take a photo and share it on my Facebook page to let people know what's being done.

“I was leaving work the other day and someone ran up to me and asked if I had noticed anything strange about the photo I'd put up. She had said it was her friend's home in the background of the photo and while they were looking at it, they noticed something unusual in the window.”

Curious, Cllr Parry decided to enlist the help of a friend who works as a TV editor to help shed some light on the mystery.

It was only when the photos were enhanced that in Cllr Parry's own words "it became obvious there was something there."

Shocked, Cllr Parry sent it to the woman who currently lives in the at the address who then duly posted it online.

The image has attracted a flurry of speculation as to what - if anything - is in the window.

Some say they see the image of a little girl or a woman.

Cllr Parry has spoken to the resident who lives in the property who has revealed there wasn't anyone in the window at the time the photo was taken.
