Hytale was officially saved on Nov. 17 after it was reacquired by its original creators, who sold it to Riot Games in 2020.
No longer in stasis, the Minecraft competitor could be out sooner than we thought, finally putting an end to a decade-long wait. If you're just as excited, you might have been wondering about how to preorder and how much it'd cost you.
So, here's all you need to know.
Hytale preorders, explained

At the moment, preorders are not yet live for Hytale, though they should start soon. Per a Nov. 21 post, Hytale will have three editions, ranging significantly in price, all of which will be open for preorders in the coming weeks. The editions are as follows:
- Standard: $19.99
- Supporter: $34.99
- Cursebreaker: $69.99
The standard edition includes the base version of the game and all relevant content, whereas the Supporter and Cursebreaker editions are there for people to pitch in with extra funds to help the developers see the project through to the end. They'll contain unique cosmetics and other symbolic items as ways of thanking those who believed in the game despite all the setbacks it may have faced.
The exact date at which the preorders will be open is still to be announced, but it's safe to assume it will be in the next few weeks. The game is slowly picking up steam and is likely to release early next year, if not by the end of 2025, which should reflect preorder timings.
