Can you name the TV show and location? Manchester on film quiz

Every time a film crew rolls into Manchester, the city buzzes with excitement.

Whether it's a huge Hollywood production that shuts down an entire village, or a small crew chasing Michelle Keegan around Salford, the city region has often doubled up as far-flung locations.

The Northern Quarter has famously doubled for New York in films including Captain America, Morbius and The Crown.

The city's historic buildings are also often used for travelling back in time for period dramas.

Then there are the shows set here in the north west, of course, like Coronation Street and Brassic.

Among the most high-profile has been Peaky Blinders, which has brought film crews to the city on multiple occasions.

How well do you think you know Manchester's film history, and the city centre?

Take the quiz below and let us know how you got on in the comments.

The answers are at the bottom.
