Everyone living in Merseyside has used a Merseyrail train at one time or another.
The network spans across Liverpool, Wirral through to Chester, Sefton, and parts of West Lancashire - and there are a huge 67 stations in total.
The Northern Line is a cross-city railway that extends from Southport to Liverpool and on to Hunts Cross.
After Sandhills, the former Liverpool, Crosby and Southport Railway branches off towards Southport, while the other routes continue to Kirkdale on what was a joint section of track between Liverpool, Ormskirk and Preston Railway and the Liverpool and Bury Railway.
After Kirkdale, the Ormskirk and Kirkby lines diverge.
Many commuters use the Northern Line to travel into the city centre and beyond.
The average journey from Southport to Liverpool Central takes around 45 minutes, stopping 15 times in between.
If you're travelling for work, though, chances are you board and disembark at Moorfields.
But just how much attention have you been paying on your journeys? Can you name all of the stops in between?
