Can you help these 'sensitive' dogs in West Lothian find a forever home?

A dog shelter in West Lothian is putting two of its long-term residents in the spotlight to help them find a forever home.

Blue, a Lurcher and Louie, a crossbreed, have been waiting for some time  at the Dogs Trust shelter in West Calder.

On Sunday, March 22 staff at the shelter will be holding a special spotlight session where those interested in adopting a dog can find out more about the pair.

They are a lively pair who enjoy the outdoors but are also "sensitive" souls.

The Dogs Trust say: "Blue and Louie are two sensitive souls who need patient and understanding owners who can take their time building up a trusting relationship with them.

"Blue is 6 years old and he is always seeking out new ways to have fun! Blue is at his happiest when he’s running around chasing after his favourite soft toys! This lively Lurcher is looking for a quiet rural home with a garden of his own where he can relax and play.

"Louie is 4 years old and he loves to keep himself busy. Louie enjoys setting off on adventures and particularly loves to explore the woods and play with his toys.

"Louie loves being surrounded by his family and adores getting a cuddle on the sofa. Louie is seeking a quiet home with owners who share his love of the great outdoors!"
