A great sense of humour, quick wit and friendly nature always help us to make light of our dreary weather - but there are also a few wee quirks to the city that only true Glasgow folk understand.
Sure, you don't need to be born in Dear Green Place to become a local (after all, we love to welcome people from all corners of the globe) but as Scotland's biggest city, we certainly have a strong sense of pride and identity.
Outsiders may not always get us (or even understand our accent) but it's our optimistic nature and cheerful blethering that always keeps people coming back for more. People make Glasgow after all!
