The virtual Grand National will broadcast on ITV this Saturday, April 4 - the same time and date as the original event was due to take place.
This year’s event had the potential to make sporting history, as last year’s winner Tiger Roll was tipped to return and go for his third consecutive Grand National win.
However, organisers revealed last month that the Grand National Festival was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak and government instruction to social distance.
The virtual event will go ahead at 5pm.
The Grand National weekend is typically huge for bookmakers and betters alike, but this year may be different as there is very little sport betting at the minute thanks to the cancellation of events across the country.

At the minute there are no bookies confirmed to be taking bets on the virtual race, though this could change in the coming days.
