‘Can they check the Tesla cameras?’: Texas homeowner gets Rooms To Go furniture delivery. Then they catch worker on home security camera in garage

When Adamary Davaloss (@adamarydavaloss) hired Rooms To Go to deliver her furniture, the last thing she expected was to discover a worker stealing from her. Yet, that’s exactly what is shown on this home security footage, which has amassed 540,900 views on TikTok.

The Great Garage Robbery

In the 30-second video, the bearded man is seen looking intently at something in the garage. Then, once his colleague has dropped off the furniture, the worker swipes a mysterious item before leaving the garage himself. Set to comedic music, the video is accompanied by a caption that reads: “POV: Your Rooms To Go delivery guy decides to steal directly in front of your camera.”

Tagging Rooms To Go in the description, Davaloss adds, “Waited almost a month for them to deliver just for this guy to steal within the 5-minute window he was here.”

Commenters were conflicted

In the comments, many users asked what the worker actually stole. However, Davaloss never revealed this, which led to some users feeling skeptical.

“It kinda matters what he stole,” one wrote. “If he stole a gold ring is a lot different than if he just took one of your Starburst candies. I know he shouldn’t take anything but if it was candy I would let it slide I can never resist candy either and I WILL steal it from you so better not leave it laying around.”

A second added, “This is why you just move your own stuff! I definitely agree they shouldn’t be taking anything, but funny how they won’t say what he stole. Probably not worth a high value so probably calling cops is hopeless. Maybe he gets fired from his job at best.”

In a further comment, Davalos confirmed that she had told the company and that they were “investigating” the issue.

Elsewhere, the guilty party looked awfully familiar to one commenter. “Thats my cousin’s baby daddy,” they wrote. “He has done it at multiple deliveries, always brags about how Rooms To Go won’t do anything.”

The Mary Sue reached out to the creator via TikTok comment and to Rooms to Go via email.
