Former Everton striker Kevin Campbell believes the Toffees can make big money by selling Moise Kean this summer.
Rafa Benitez is not willing to loan the Italian out again next season and Paris Saint-Germain – where Kean spent the majority of last season – would have to seal a permanent agreement for the former Juventus forward.
Although the 21-year-old is yet to make any sort of impact at Goodison Park, his performances for PSG last season certainly increased his market value.
The young Italian scored 17 goals and grabbed one assist for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, including 13 in Ligue 1, three in the Champions League and one in the Coupe de France.
Despite Kean's failure to perform in the Premier League, Campbell believes he can still be sold for good money.
“It’s typical really, a young player coming into the Premier League who can’t find his feet,” said the former Everton striker, speaking to Goodison News.
“He looked the business in Italy, came over here and can’t do the job, but on loan at Paris Saint-Germain, he’s ripping it up.
“He scored plenty of goals, but it’s unfortunate for Everton. The money is good, they have deep pockets so you make a premium on a player who didn’t quite work out.”
When his loan spell in Paris had finished, Kean made it very clear where he wanted to be playing his football next season.
The striker took to social media to say: "Happy to score in the last game at Parc des Princes, hope to see you next season!"
